Acute and chronic aortic dissections - determinants of long-term outcomefor operative survivors - EN

A total of 135 survivors of surgical treatment for aortic dissection

were followed up to 15 years after surgery. The actuarial survival

rates were 82 +/- 4% at 5 years and 64 +/- 6% at 10 years. There

were no significant differences between the long-term survival rates

in four subgroups according to type and severity of dissection.
